Hari first started working with HQ directly after the devastating 2015 earthquake, helping coordinate our emergency relief efforts and then moving on to manage our sister NGO, Himalayan Quests Foundation’s school rebuild and health camp programmes. 

Born down near the Terai in the south west of the country Hari first moved to Pokhara for his last two years of school, before then heading to Kathmandu for his university studies.  With a Bachelor’s degree in science and a Masters in economics, Hari followed his passion for working directly with Nepali communities and has been working since 2009 with various local NGOs and INGOs on a mixture of grassroots and global projects, all with the aim of uplifting and educating marginalised and vulnerable communities.

 Hari first started working with HQ directly after the devastating 2015 earthquake, helping coordinate our emergency relief efforts and then moving on to manage our sister NGO, Himalayan Quests Foundation’s school rebuild and health camp programmes.  He is an integral member of our team, responsible for managing all aspects of our community lead programmes.

When not working, Hari loves to explore the country on his motorbike, gardening, building things that are useful on an every day level and spending time with his wife and young daughter Anuska.
